Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
ReviseWithAI is operated by Henry Smith, trading as ReviseWithAI, 14 Norwood Terrace, Ilkley, LS29 7EY.
1. Using ReviseWithAI
These terms apply when you create an account and use ReviseWithAI. When you register you tick “I agree to the terms of service and privacy policy”; by doing so you agree to these terms. We record that you accepted them, with the date, time and version of the terms, against your account.
ReviseWithAI is aimed at students aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should create and manage the account with you. If you are under 18, please check with a parent or guardian before buying a paid plan.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your password and login session secure, and for the accuracy of the information you give us. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. Free trial, paid plans and prices
New accounts start on a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access needs an active paid plan. Plans are paid for through Stripe. Prices are as shown at checkout (we are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added):
- Monthly: £7.99 a month, renewing automatically until cancelled.
- Annual: £59.99 a year, renewing automatically until cancelled.
- Exam Pass: £19.99 one-off for 3 months of access. It does not renew.
You can cancel a renewing plan at any time from Settings (or through Stripe’s billing portal). Cancelling stops future renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, you keep paid access for 7 days from the first failed payment while we and Stripe retry. If it hasn’t been paid by then, paid features lock until it is paid. A refund or a payment dispute (chargeback) ends paid access for the plan concerned.
Fair-use limit on AI. To protect the service from abuse, each account has a monthly limit on how much AI marking and generation it can use. Normal revision use is well below it. If you reach it, AI features pause until the limit resets on the 1st of the month, and you can contact us if you think it is wrong.
We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email of any price change (section 12).
4. Parent-Purchased Subscriptions
A student can ask a parent or guardian to pay for their plan (“sponsorship”), or a parent can buy a plan for a named student. The parent can choose the Monthly, Annual or Exam Pass plan, and doesn’t need a ReviseWithAI account. The parent is responsible for that payment and can cancel it at any time; this doesn’t delete the student’s account or study data. A parent without an account manages billing through Stripe’s portal link, or by emailing hello@revisewithai.com. Refunds (section 5) go to whoever paid. Only enter a parent’s or student’s email address if you are entitled to give it to us; see section 7 of the Privacy Policy for how we use it.
5. Your right to cancel and refunds
Full refund within 14 days. Anyone can email hello@revisewithai.com within 14 days of their first payment and we will refund it in full. You don’t need to give a reason or tick anything. A refund ends paid access for that plan (section 3).
After 14 days. We don’t refund the current period, but you can cancel so the plan won’t renew, and you keep access until the period ends.
This section doesn’t affect your separate rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the service is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
6. AI-generated content
Quizzes, questions and marking on ReviseWithAI are generated and evaluated using AI (via OpenAI’s API). We aim for this to be accurate and aligned to the relevant exam board specification, but AI-generated marking can be wrong. Use it as a revision aid, not as an official or guaranteed exam prediction, and don’t rely on it as your sole source of truth for exam content.
7. Content you provide
You’re responsible for the notes and files you upload or paste into the notes feature, and for anything you import via a connected Notion account — that connection is also governed by Notion’s own terms. Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share, or that’s unlawful, infringing, or contains someone else’s personal data without their consent. You keep ownership of the notes you write or upload; you grant us a licence to store and process them solely to provide the service to you (e.g. to generate questions from them).
8. Our content and intellectual property
Other than the notes you provide, the software, question banks, revision content, branding and design of ReviseWithAI are our property or that of our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own revision while your account is active. You may not copy, resell, scrape or redistribute our question banks or generated content.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to access another user’s account or data, interfere with the service, bypass rate limits, or use ReviseWithAI to generate or distribute unlawful content.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This happens immediately, ends any active session and cancels any subscription; see our Privacy Policy for exactly what is deleted and what is kept. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If we close your account for any reason other than your breach, or we shut the service down, we’ll give you reasonable notice and refund the unused part of anything you have paid for, pro rata.
11. Disclaimer and liability
ReviseWithAI is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will result in any particular exam outcome. This doesn’t affect your legal rights as a consumer: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, for example, the service must be as described and provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to exclude or limit. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100.
12. Changes to these terms and prices
If we make a material change to these terms, or change a price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don’t accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect and we’ll refund the unused part of what you’ve paid, pro rata. Other changes will be shown on this page with a new date.
13. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing a term on one occasion doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation (for example, if the business is sold), but this won’t reduce the protections you have as a customer. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, mandatory local consumer-protection law still applies to you, and you can bring a claim in the courts of the country you live in as well as in England and Wales. If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Complaints
If something’s gone wrong, contact us first at the email below and we’ll try to put it right. If we can’t resolve it, UK consumers can get free advice from Citizens Advice or use the small claims track of their local court.
